I am from Alberta where I currently base my practice. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Alberta College of Art plus Design in 2008. In my time at ACAD I focused on printmaking, but towards graduation I became interested in creating reproductions of seemingly everyday objects. This has grown into an interdisciplinary practice of constructing narrative through video, performance and installation.
I love pushing the boundaries of what is possible with limited resources and with largely salvaged materials and tools. My work is influenced by Ethics and Politics and I have been interested in the idea of food as a political, and socio-economic force, teetering on collapse.
I have shown nationally and participated in a number of exhibitions. On a part time basis I an am assistant at the Illingworth Kerr Gallery, and on commission I do a bunch of other stuff "ahem" provide a wide range of custom technical support to clients and fellow artists.
